Just a quick thank you for your hard work in putting these awards together.
Thanks too to the judges who've got a lot of reading to do.
Best,
Yoni
Wow! Thank you for the jurors hard work! I'm so proud and excited to have made the shortlist in my category (best new weblog). YAY!
sincere thanks for hosting these awards, and to the jury for taking the time to go through all the nominees. i'm looking forward to reading some new-to-me blogs and meeting some fellow canadian bloggers through here.
all the best,
ana
So honoured by this! And so great to see recognition of Canadian blogs like this. Will definitely be visiting the others.
I must put in a word for ana at imadeitso.com whose blog is nominated in the crafting category.
ana is not only a gifted crafter but a wonderful and inspired networker. She has brought together people from all over the world (I am from India, for example) in ways which go far beyond crafts and creations.
She has humor and heart and a passion for whatever she does. I have never met her, but I am one of her many, many admirers. She brings joy to the world.
Beyond excited to be shortlisted! Thanks so much for the time and effort. Can't wait to click on a few links and find some new blogs to follow! Thanks again!
Wow...very cool. Thank you!
I am so honoured to be on this list. Thanks so much for the hard work of the jury. I'm sure many hours were spent reading through numerous blogs. I am excited to start clicking on these links and finding some new favourite blogs.
I'm so honoured to still be in the running in all 3 categories I was nominated in! Thank you so much for organizing this and to the jurors for all the hard work and reading hours they put in. Looking forward to seeing the results!
Ahhhhh so exciting!!! Thank you so much for your hard work... it's going to be an exciting couple of weeks :)
Thanks for all your hard work we are so excited and rather chuffed to bits to have made it to the semi finals!

Congrats to everyone who made the short list! Now I have something to really aim for in the coming year. ;) Good luck!
Nice job Schmutzie! I was looking forward to this year's list. Now go take a nap and I'll make sure no one rings the doorbell.
Sweet! So excited to be on the shortlist. A great bonus on top of finding so many super blogs in one place.
Congratulations to all these wonderful bloggers, especially to my dear friend Laurita at Calling Shotgun. She is SO deserving!
Congrats to everyone who made the short list. Gives me food for thought for the next year coming. So exciting for all of you and I was proud just being nominated.
Thank you for including my site among the finalists, and congratulations to all of the shortlisted nominees! I think my Google Reader is going to burst at the seams with this list. ;)
I guess I´ll have to read the 10 criteria after all. I have been blogging for 11 years and so many of the blogs which have come to seriously dominate Canadian traffic numbers............are not even remotely represented here. The most venerable and most popular by daily and monthly traffic do not exist...if your believe this website.
Sue, blogs only make it onto the Canadian Weblog Awards if they're nominated, so if they're not represented here, it's not because the criteria are faulty. Nominations are open again on Feb 1st for the 2012 season, so nominate great blogs. I'd love to see them here!
I wasn't going to say anything but I wonder if there is a strong anti-disabled sentiment amongst the judges, none of the leading disabled bloggers, who were nominated, made it to the finals. Health and wellness, which is supposed to include those with physical disabilities - didn't. Ecology and social justice completely shut out disabled bloggers. They selected a blogger who hasn't blogged for months and excluded disabled bloggers who seriously try to make change every day. I see bias here. The disabled community is familiar with having our voices silenced. I guess maybe I shouldn't be surprised. I call bias.
Thank you so much for including us on the shortlist! Congrats (and good luck) to all the other nominees as well.
